Fenglong Li was born in China. He specializes in painting, 3d modelling, sculpture, photography and video. He likes to work on the theme of "the challenges that time gives people" and "rebuilding the lost of spiritual homeland". His work encourages people to pursue their natural state and to learn the wisdom of life from it.
PROJECT STATEMENT
In this information-based and networked society, people are forced to receive an enormous amount of information. People hope to recreate their spiritual home with nostalgia and pick up their culture and dreams again. Unfortunately, too much information and temptation has forced people to pick up their mobile phones and computers again, and the heavy social pressure has forced them to return to their work stations. This era forces people to give up on their dreams, on thinking and on life.
Through this work, I have tried to show the dilemma and the challenges of the times that people face today. I use cages, funnels and syringes to represent the newest tools in contemporary society, such as mobile phones, as a means of restraining people's minds. I hope that people will realize the dilemma that the times have given them and break out of it to return to their lives with a positive mindset.
